Some people travel to see the sights. Some just want to get away. Others do it to escape the scrutiny of home so they can make memories they would otherwise be ashamed of. But ask any backpacker what they remember the most from their travels and the answer will always be the same: the amazing people they met. And it's for this very reason that we opened a property in Budapest.
We are located on Nagymezo Utca 27 right in the middle of the party district. Across the street we have Budapest's biggest club Instant. Around the corner we have several convenience stores where you can buy food and drinks 24/7. 5 minutes walking you' ll find the international trainstation Nygati. There's a bus stop in front of the hostel.
The most common remark we get about our property is that it feels like a home away from home, with a family you never knew you had – which is no surprise to us! All the staff living and working here chose this life because we love meeting people, we love having a good time, and most of all we love this property and its amazing city! The architecture, the history, the never-ending festivals, the random sing-alongs with strangers in a bar... there’s never a dull moment here!

Air:
From Liszt Ferenc Terminal 2 take bus 200 or 200E to Kebanya-Kispest metro station. Then take the metro to Arany Janos utca. Walk out, cross the main road and walk 2 and a half blocks up O utca (leads off from the main road, opposite the metro station) and David Hasselhostel is on the right hand side.
Rail:
- From Nyugati station take tram 4 or 6 to Oktogon (1 stop). Find the Burger King on the corner or the main junction, and turn down Andrassy utca next to it. Then take the 2nd right on to Nagymezo utca. Then the second right on O utca. Walk about 150m and David Hasselhostel is on the right hand side.
- From Keleti station take the metro to Blaha Lujza Ter (1 stop), then take tram 4 or 6 to Oktogon (3 stops, direction: Szell Kalmon ter). Find the Burger King, turn the corner next to Burger King, walk down Andrassy utca, then take the 2nd right on to Nagymezo utca and take your second right up O utca. David Hasselhostel Party Hoffstel is on the right hand side two buildings down.
OR
Take the #78 trolley bus from Garay utca (around the corner from Keleti train station's main entrance), go 9 stops in the direction of Kossuth Lajos ter and get off at Zichy Jeno utca. Turn around and walk one block back the way the bus came and turn left up O utca and Hi 5 Party'ish Property is on the right hand side.
