Description

The Brownstone Hostel is a historical townhouse built in 1907 as a former laundry house, the property convert to the first upscale hostel in Ipoh new town. Inspired by the building history, The Brownstone Hostel maintained the building aesthetics while modernizing the spaces and hostel facilities. The hostel provide a few social spaces (courtyard, rooftop garden, tv room and etc...) that you can get together with the travelers around the world!

By Flight
The airport known as Sultan Azlan Shah Airport, Firefly is the only airline available at the moment, ply along Singapore – Ipoh. Get faster access to Ipoh from Singapore, which only takes around 40 – 50 minutes.

By Taxi
Main bus station Amanjaya Bus Terminal:-
Driving distance to The Brownstone Hostel is around 10.5km, about 30minutes. (Price from bus station to The Brownstone Hostel is approximately Rm25.00 per way, additional of 50% charge from 12midnight till 7am.

Sultan Azlan Shah Airport:-
Driving distance to The Brownstone Hostel is around 4.2km, about 15minutes. (Price from Sultan Azlan Shah Airport to The Brownstone Hostel is approximately Rm15.00 per way, additional of 50% charge from 12nidnight to 7am.

By Bus

Policies

If cancellation/amendment is made within 72 hours of your arrival, 1st night's room rate and tax will be charged. In the case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Effective September 1st 2017, under the gazetted Tourism Tax Act 2017, all non Malaysian hotel guests will be levied a Tourism Tax of RM 10.00 per room per night. The amount is not included in the booked room price and will be paid directly by the guest at the hotel.
